Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology is proven technology used to combat exhaust emission pollutions from diesel engines in stationery and automobile applications worldwide. In SCR System chemical reductant (commonly aqueous urea AUS 32) reacts with exhaust gases in presence of catalyst to reduce harmful Oxides of Nitrogen NoX and convert them into water and nitrogen which are environment friendly. This chemical reductant is high purity urea mixed with DI water and processed as per ISO 22241 Standards. This urea reductant is also called Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). AdBlue® is also a popular name for DEF. AdBlue® is trade mark registered and owned by VDA German Association of Automotive Industry. Only licensed manufacturers can use AdBlue®. SCR System when used with right DEF can reduce NoX pollution up to 90% and helps protect environment against exhaust emissions.
